Summary
A nylon kite in its original nylon bag. All of the nylon has a squared effect in its weave. The kite is triangular in shape, with a bright blue border of clouds and a large red, yellow and orange sun in the centre. Sewn inside the centre seam and each side piece is a length of wooden dowelling. There is an extra piece loose in the bag. Also sewn to the centre seam is a triangle of yellow nylon with a silver-coloured metal ring sewn at its outside point. Approximately halfway down each side is a narrow, rectangular piece of blue nylon, sewn on diagonally, with half its length hanging free. At the lower edge of each side is a short knotted piece of nylon thread. The bag is long, cream-coloured, and has light brown ribbon ties at its open end. One of the ribbons is missing apart from a short frayed piece. Sewn to the bag near to the top is a label made from the same fabric which reads 'Monday Lunch Kites', then a drawing of a kite on a plate between a knife and fork, and 'Medium Delta Through the Dark Cloud'. At the top edge is a price label, consisting of a yellow paper label stuck to a piece of white cardboard, which reads 'The Kite Store'. Total number of items is 3.
