Summary
This is part of a Tri-ang electric train set. It is an electrically operated power transformer inside it's original cardboard box. It has a brown plastic cover with wires connected to both ends. One is round and leads to a 3-point plug the other is flat and separates with the wire soldered into a cap. Where this wire is attached to the transformer 'DC Track / AC Access’ is embossed on the box. The main section is divided in to two. The left is embossed with the voltage information. The right has a cream pointer which has a lift up handle so it can be turned to select 'Reverse, Forward or Off' at different speeds. The cardboard box opens both ends and is yellow and white with black printing. The sides have pictures of the model trains. The base is white with electricity warnings printed in brown.
