Summary
A soft toy Postman Pat, based on the Woodland Animations character. He is mostly made from a kind of brushed nylon fabric (head, hands, trousers, jacket, cap, soles of shoes), but he has a white cotton shirt and brown fur fabric hair. His facial features are printed in white and black ink. His trousers and shirt (which has a collar and ties printed on in black) are stuffed along with his head to form his body. His jacket is removable and fastens with two gold-coloured press-studs. His shoes are black, with plastic uppers which have black nylon cord ties and pieces of cardboard inside the soles to provide a flat base enabling him to stand. The peak of his cap is made from the same black plastic as his shoes. A 'badge' is embroidered on the front of his cap in gold-coloured thread. His spectacles are made from gold-coloured plastic Sewn to his left hand is a light brown cotton sack which is stuffed with a small amount of paper and has 'Post Office' printed in black as if using a stencil. Sewn into the seam in the middle of his back, where his trousers meet his shirt, is a white ribbon label printed in black with washing instructions and manufacturer's details.
