Summary
A Buzz Lightyear toy, based on the character from the Disney/Pixar animation 'Toy Story'. He is a spaceman, in a spacesuit which is mainly grey, with bright green details. Inside this he is presumably wearing a tight-fitting, all-in-one garment with a hood, as the neck and head are coloured purple with small headphones at the ears. The suit has a clear plastic helmet, the front portion of which can be tipped back. The figure has moulded and painted facial features and is jointed at the waist, hips and elbows and his head swivels slightly from side to side. The arms are very long, and the boots are very large. There are coloured 'buttons', four on his chest and one on his sleeve. On each sleeve is a small colour-printed sticker. On his back is a small backpack-like piece which could contain breathing apparatus. The jet pack is mainly made from silver-coloured plastic, with silver and red wings, red 'rockets' and a blue central piece which connects to the back of Buzz's spacesuit after removing his 'backpack'. The wings open out at the sides to reveal a shaped (a rocket in front of a planet, with a wing at each side), clear blue plastic piece which, when pressed, activates the 'sound and light'. At each side of the jet pack is a silver-coloured projection which Buzz's arms rest in when flying. The colour-printed cardboard part of the original packaging (after discarding the clear plastic 'bubble') contains information about how to activate and release the jet pack, in English, French, Italian and Spanish. It also has safety information about the batteries, price and bar code, etc. Total number of items is 3.
