Summary
A card interchange rhythm trainer consisting of a black painted, hinged, wooden case with two metal handles; used as a musical teaching aid. The object is from Ashgate Infants School, Ashbourne Road, Derby. The school opened in 1879. The donor of the object attended the school from 1939 (aged 4/5 until 11). Her daughters also attended school and the donor worked at school as Education Care Officer from 1971/1972 until 1996.
