Summary
A Dinky elevator loader toy, made from painted metal with black plastic tyres and a black rubber conveyor belt. The main body of the toy is yellow, with blue chutes at the top and bottom. The top chute can be swivelled from side to side and the bottom one can be lifted or lowered by using a silver-coloured metal lever at the side. There are four plastic sacks to be 'elevated'. Total number of items is 5.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Alan Hartropp in 2007. Toy played with by donor's two sons (Simon b.1956 and Andrew b.1959) in the 1960s.
