Summary
A pull-along toy dog, made from fur fabric stuffed with an unknown substance. It is mainly light brown with a white snout and tail, now slightly dirty. It has brown and black plastic eyes, a black plastic nose and a mouth embroidered in black thread. It is attached to a red-painted metal frame with silver-coloured wire. The frame has a red plastic wheel attached at each corner with silver-coloured axles. Its original pulling-along string is missing and has been replaced with a brown leather strap. It also originally had a blue ribbon bow at the neck, but this too is missing.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Alan Hartropp in 2007. The dog belonged to the donor's son Andrew b.1959.
