Summary
Three pieces of ephemera relating to the Kellogg’s Frosties ‘Tony Supporter’ membership club. Firstly an A4 letter of membership for the Kellogg's Frosties 'Tony Supporter' printed on shiny paper. The background of the sheet is blue, pale blue at the top, shading to darker blue at the bottom. At the top 'Kellogg's' printed in red, below this 'FROSTIES' printed in black and below this ' Made to Tony's Secret Formula' in red. The writing is encircled by red and yellow lines and accompanied by a red trip with yellow border lines across the sheet of paper. On this is printed the membership number. The text of the letter is printed in the middle of the sheet and at the bottom are cartoon pictures of a sneezing rabbit, a black and white cat and 'Tony the Tiger' holding a sparkling sack with 'Frosties Secret Formula' written across it. The back of the letter is plain white. The letter has been folded in three leaving two crease lines across the width of the paper. Secondly card sheet of 6 push out pieces that can be folded and glued to make a ‘TONY’S FORMULA 1 RACER’ car. The pieces are primarily orange and black. The back of the sheet is white. Some of the pieces have fallen out of the sheet and others have come loose. One piece is missing. A sheet of 39 push out stickers featuring Tony the Tiger, Frosties, Esso, Mobil and Texaco. None have been used, though some are coming loose slightly Total number of items is 3.
