Summary
A card game called ‘Bread and Honey’ based on the children’s nursery rhyme ‘Sing a Song of Sixpence’ in a brown card box (1900s). The outer box is damage and in two pieces. A card stuck to the box shows a coloured picture of a 'queen' eating honey. The title of the game along with makers name and address is printed in black. There are supposed to be 53 cards, and they have a yellow and maroon patterned back. The front shows a coloured picture of characters from 'Sing a Song of Sixpence'. Some cards are torn and all show wear. Three cards are missing. Total number of items is 53.
