Summary
A plastic 'myscene' fashion doll, in its original packaging, whose expressions can be changed by pressing any of the five buttons on her back, hence the name 'Fab Expressions' (circa 2006). The packaging is of the moulded clear plastic 'bubble' type which would require cutting to open, so the doll has not been removed for cataloguing. She is wearing a very short pink nylon dress, a white fake fur stole and plastic platform sandals which have pink flowers at the fronts and moulded silver-coloured groups of flowers at the ankles. She also wears pink and silver-coloured jewellery - a tiara, large hoop earrings, bangle and necklace. She is carrying a plastic dark pink and pale green bag, with silver-coloured clasp and bow, out of the top corner of which is protruding the head and front paws of a white plastic dog (Yorkshire Terrier type) who is also wearing a tiara. Packaged separately is another outfit consisting of pink velour cropped trousers with a plastic silver-coloured belt and a white jersey sleeveless top which has a printed design resembling several gold necklaces. There is also a pair of silver-coloured plastic knee-high high-heeled boots which are decorated in pink, and a large silver-coloured plastic tiara which has large, heart-shaped plastic gemstones which resemble diamonds. Also packaged separately is a silver-coloured hair comb shaped as a crown, another silver-coloured and pink necklace and a collection of 'handbag' items, including pink sunglasses, a silver-coloured and pink mobile phone, a pink hair slide, a lipstick, a pink lip colour compact and a round pink compact. The packaging is basically square-shaped, with the corners cut off (see image). It is made from clear plastic, with a border of raised pink glittery shapes meant to resemble gemstones. At the back of the packaging is a cardboard insert, colour-printed in shiny pink with a pink scrolled pattern. Printed in white in the top right-hand corner is 'Kennedy'. Printed on the back of the cardboard insert are a full-length photograph of the doll, with five framed photographs of her face in its five different expressions and a framed photograph of this doll and three others. Printed in white below the frames is 'Press buttons to change expressions!' in nine languages. There is also a circular hole cut through the packaging to reveal the buttons in the doll's back. Each of these is on a 'stalk' with an oval-shaped end on which is printed an expression in black. There are several colour-printed cardboard labels either glued to the outside of the packaging or inserted into moulded clear plastic inside.
