Summary
A strip of wood, slightly domed in cross-section, used as a form of punishment for children. It is made of pale natural wood lightly sealed or varnished. It is slightly bent into a wavy shape, to make it more flexible. The donor states that it is Georgian, but it looks modern, even new. It is intended for smacking naughty children.
