Summary
A late 1970s or 1980s plastic doll with moulded and painted facial features, mobile brown glass eyes, and black nylon hair, possibly dressed in clothes made especially for her donation to the museum. The arms and legs are jointed, the right hand closed. The doll wears a short-sleeved white knitted dress with pink ribbon threaded through at the waist, a long-sleeved white knitted jacket fastened with three pink buttons down the front and white knitted knickers with elastic at the waist. Both the dress and jacket have a lace-patterned crocheted hem. The doll wears a white knitted bonnet with a pink marabou trim, tied under the chin with a pink ribbon. On the feet are white knitted bootees threaded with pink ribbon.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs C. Dodds in July 2005.
