Summary
This object is a white, metal Volvo police car with an orange stripe along the side and a sign on the roof. (circa 1978). The policeman is standing with his right hand raised. He has a navy blue uniform and a white cap. There are two orange accident notice boards with 'Police Accident' in yellow on a black background on one side. The original box is in two parts. The inner part is yellow cardboard and slides out. It has slots to retain the car, the policeman and the notices. The outer part is made of cardboard and clear cellophane. The box itself is black, yellow, red and white and there is a vertical extension to the top at the back. The front and top of the box has a clear window through which the objects can be seen. This window has a yellow frame on the top and sides and a black and red frame at the bottom. The ends of the box have the number '243' and the name of the contents. On the back of the box is a coloured illustration of models of American vehicles associated with a crash, which are produced by the manufacturer. Total number of items is 6.
