Summary
A doll with glazed a white china shoulder-head, forearms and lower legs. She has black painted hair and moulded and painted facial features, with blue eyes and a small closed mouth. Her arms and hands are white, and her legs are white with dark blue under-glaze garters and shoes. She has a stuffed cloth body. She wears a dark red stiffened bonnet with bright red velvet trim near the crown and lace trim at the brim. Her dark red plush jacket is lined with white and purple striped cotton, and trimmed with pink braid at the collar and cuffs. It has four pink buttons and a hook and eye down the front, and black lace at the hem. She has a wide striped purple and white cotton skirt with a pink waistband and a sewn mock apron in white muslin with a lace trim. Underneath is a white cotton petticoat with broderie anglaise trim threaded with green ribbon, and another plain white linen petticoat with one pin tuck. Under this she has white cotton pantaloons open at the front, with five pin tucks and elaborate scalloped broderie anglaise trim at the ankles.
