Summary
A table tennis set in its original cardboard box. The box contains a loose cardboard insert with slots for the contents. These consist of two table tennis bats with wooden handles and cork faces, a green mesh net and two metal clamps by which the net may be attached to a table. The box is in two parts. The lid is covered with coloured paper and on the top is a picture of a boy in a blue jumper playing table tennis with a girl in a red jumper and two children watching. The words 'Table Tennis' are in the bottom left hand corner and beneath this a list of the contents of the box. The sides of the lid have the words 'Table Tennis' on them and on the long sides have pictures of children holding tennis bats as well. The bottom of the lid is plain cardboard. Total number of items is 6.
