Summary
A wall oven in the ‘Sindy’ range (circa 1973). A tall white column contains a black plastic oven which has three dials and a red temperature gauge above a small oven with a door that drops down. This has a removable black plastic shelf. Below this is a larger oven in which the door drops down. Inside is a stainless steel coloured meat tin, with Sindy embossed on the base, and another black shelf. A compartment beneath the oven has a yellow hinged door; this contains a rectangular plastic lid. The original cardboard box has a coloured photograph of the oven on three sides and four pictures of other toy available in the series on the fourth side. Details of the manufacturer Pedigree, their address and place of manufacture appear on the box, also the Serial Number No.44550. Part of the top lid is missing. There is a note to the effect that the toys are not suitable for children under three years of age. Total number of items is 6. Bought in 1973 for the donor's daughter (Sally) when she was age 4 or 5.
