Summary
A teddy bear, with movable joints and head, covered in gold coloured plush with light brown-beige velveteen paws. Dark brown vertically stitched nose and mouth with 'spot' on right-hand side of muzzle. The pads have cardboard under the soles with four claws, stitched in black thread, on all paws. It has a 'growler' inside which no longer works. There is a crude repair, with black thread, down centre back. The eyes are missing. It belonged to the donor's brother, Edwin Lovatt, born circa 1937, and given to him by his parents' landlord. His parents were tenant farmers in Appleby Magna, Leics.
