Summary
A 'Victorian Nursery' design child's cream pottery tea service (circa 2001) comprising - teapot with lid, sugar pot with lid, milk jug, two plates, cups and saucers. The two cups have beaded rim inside and two black and white horses on a green base with red wheels on the side. The saucers have a man on a green base with red wheels pulling a string of ten fawn coloured camels also on a green base. The milk jug has the beaded rim with the ringmaster and a string of four camels. The sugar basin lid, which has a raised white knob on the top and a cut-out rim, has the beaded decoration around it. On the basin itself the ringmaster leads three camels and three horses all on green stands with red wheels. The teapot lid, which has a raised knob and small hole on the top is decorated with the beaded band. This is repeated on the teapot handle and teapot base, also on the teapot and two horses on green bases with red wheels. There is a small hairline crack on the rim of one plate. The two plates (which are not on display) have a red, blue, yellow and white beaded border on the rim and a black and white horse with red harness in the centre. Total number of items is 11.
