Summary
Six ‘T’ shaped keys of which one belongs to a larger train set made by Chad Valley. Three keys of dull metal have a short round shank with square hole. The T has an embossed criss-cross background with on one side an oblong panel and is made by ‘Hornby’. Two keys are shiny metal, slightly rusty in places. They have a square shank with a square hole that is riveted to the T. This cross piece has a hole at one end. It is plain on one side and on the other is impressed. It was made by Meccano. The last key is made of shiny metal, rusty in places. The shaft is square with a square hole riveted to a curved T piece which was made by Chad Valley. Total number of items is 6.

Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr Robert Brennard in February 2000.
Marks and inscriptions
On the sides of one key: 'HORNBY', and on the other side a round panel wit the letter 's' On the cross piece of two keys: 'GAUGE FOR RAILS / MECCANO / H / MADE IN ENGLAND'. On the cross piece of one key: 'CHAD VALLEY / MADE IN ENGLAND'.
