Summary
A handmade wooden station; part of a larger train set. The station consists of a long wooden platform standing on six cotton reels. The station building is placed on the top with a long flat unpainted hardboard roof with nails protruding outwards at the top. This roof has become detached. The station building below is smaller, with an open arch in the centre, with a crack above. It is painted grey with green doors and windows. A grey painted, small, wooden wall is at the back with pasted colour advertisements, including 'Dreft', 'Lucozade', 'Persil', 'Heinz Perfect Soups', 'Marmite', 'Double Diamond', 'Kia-Ora', 'Gills' and 'The Autocar', decorating it as well as the sides of the station building. Total number of items is 2.
