Summary
Four metal toy train carriages; part of a larger train set. Each carriage has a grey metal roof. Along the sides are two red longitudinal stripes, one is just below the roof and the other reaching to just below the windows. There is a wide yellow band in between with shiny metals for the three windows and the two windows in the painted doors. The number '9798' is painted on yellow on the red paint near the base. The ends of the carriages are painted red and have a black painted connecting door and handholds, and the printed notice 'Hornby, Made in England, Meccano Ltd'. The base is painted black and carries four wheels on two axles. Total number of items is 4.
