Summary
The original box for a 'Just Born Baby Boy' doll (circa 1988). It is made from cardboard, printed all over with pink hearts on a white background, and a large blue printed bow at the top right-hand corner. The lower part of the box is printed in blue to represent a bamboo and wickerwork cot. The front of the box has cut-out gaps between the bars, and a large 'window' cut out above the rail. This was originally backed with a sheet of clear plastic but this is now loose inside the box. On the inside, the base slopes upwards at the 'head' end of the 'cot', and here a long piece of white plastic-covered wire is threaded through to secure the doll's neck in place. In the top of the box is a strong white plastic carrying handle. An oval label stuck at the bottom left-hand corner of the box front reads 'Faerie Glen presents...Just Born Baby Boy. All soft vinyl. Age 3+. Made in Italy'. The box is slightly torn. Total number of items is 2.
