Summary
The card game Snap in its original box (circa 1947). On the back of each white card is a design printed in red of two clowns in pointed hats, on a spotty background, and the word 'Snap' twice. The fronts feature nine sets of four identical images of labelled nursery rhyme characters, e.g. Little Jack Horner and Humpty Dumpty. One of the 'Ride-a-cock-horse' set is missing, and there are many small holes in several cards, possibly made with a pencil. The box is folded from a single piece of thin cardboard and colour-printed on a white background with the head and neck of a goose (wearing a bonnet) and the words 'Mother Goose Snap'. The ends of the box tuck in to secure the cards inside. The box is intact but quite dog-eared. Total number of items is 36.
