Summary
Three identity cards from World War II, along with three ration books from the same period. The individual items are as follows; 1/ A rectangular beige identity card. Printed in black ink on the front cover beneath a crest is National Registration Identity Card’. On the inside of the card is the identity number 'OMXD 103' and the individual's name and address. 'The card is signed by 'Alice Holt 5.5.1941, but had the name and address of George A. Holt. 2/ A rectangular green identity card. Printed in black ink on the front cover beneath a royal coat of arms is ‘National Registration Identity Card’. On the reverse the identity number 'FW 075363'. On the inside of the card is written 'OMDE 48 2' and the individual's name and address. The card has been date stamped 28.5.1943, and belonged to Alice Holt. 3/ A rectangular green identity card in two parts. Printed in black ink on the front cover beneath a royal coat of arms is ‘National Registration Identity Card’. On the reverse of the card is the identity number 'FW 075369'. On the inside of the card is written 'OMDE 48 1' and the individual's name and address. The card has been date stamped 28.5.1943 and belonged to George H. Holt 4/ Three beige ration books. One book bears the number 'BH 938966' and the individual's name and address 'Holt George, 47 Woodland St. Another book bears the number 'BH 938967' and the individual's name and address 'Holt Joan E, 47 Woodland St. The last book bears the number 'BH 938969' and the individual's name and address 'Holt George A, 47 Woodland St'. Total number of items is 7.
