A doll's house size fireplace (from 'Bella Vista' doll's house - inventory number 661761) made from the wood from cigar boxes, stained dark brown. The fire basket consists of a metal drawer handle upside down, screwed to the fireback. This contains a fire made of screwed-up red tissue paper. Above the fire is a small mantelpiece and a square glass mirror in a wood frame. Above this is a small shelf and there is a plain cornice at the top. At each side a half round wood moulding represent a column from top to bottom. There is a very large wooden fender enclosing an area of floor papered to represent pale green and white ceramic tiles. The fireback is papered to match.
