Summary
A wooden chest of drawers for a doll's house (from 'Bella Vista' doll's house - inventory number 661761), stained dark red-brown, the top, base and sides being slightly darker than the drawers. The top and base extend beyond the drawers and have rounded front edges, and the four feet are ball-shaped. There are two large drawers with two small ones at the top. The wood has possibly come from old cigar boxes as the drawer bases have '25' and '50' stamped (or branded) on them. Each drawer front has metal knobs (one on the small drawers, two on the large drawers) and decorative beading at each side. The large drawers also have beading along the top edge. A piece of the beading on the top left-hand drawer has become detached and is missing. In the other small drawer are two small screws, one of which is the 'eye' type.
