Summary
A rectangular doll's trunk made from cardboard (contents from Betty Cadbury's doll's house number: 665529). The outside is patterned to represent brown crocodile skin with two brown leather strips fastened with brown metal studs, running across the top and down the front, with a horizontal strip running around three sides. On each end is a small metal handle. At the front is a metal clasp and lock (no key). The underside of the box is covered in red and blue checked paper, rubbed off in the centre. Inside the box is covered in red and blue floral paper. Two cotton straps are attached to the side and lid. There are two loose shelves with a wooden frame covered in the red and blue floral paper, with the base made of interlaced thin cream cotton webbing, with two cotton handles. There are two floral paper covered wooden strips for resting the shelves on. One is loose. The box lid has two small metal hinges. Total number of items is 4.
