Summary
AOne of the puppets made for and used by the ‘Lilliput Marionette Theatre’ A marionette puppet, possibly from ‘The Lost Princess’ due to the dress of the puppet. The marionette has no control. She has a carved wooden face with painted eyes, lips and pink skin and grey artificial hair in plastic rollers. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, knees and ankles, with metal wire joints. Her body is of wood with moulded hands. She wears a red and green check cotton headscarf, a blue cotton blouse with multi-coloured stripes, and a brown skirt of man-made fabric with yellow ric-rac trim near the hem. Over these she wears a cotton apron of a multi-coloured marbled pattern. Her grey leather slippers are trimmed with white artificial fur.
