Summary
A peg wooden doll with a painted wooden face and black painted hair. The body, arms and legs are wooden with joints at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Both legs and the left arm are detached. She wears a frilly white cotton mob cap with two lace streamers, a black cotton dress with lace cuffs, and a white cotton apron with shoulder straps and broderie anglaise decoration. A hand-written label tied to this doll reads '1968, Victorian wooden jointed doll from Pollock's Toy Museum, 123'.
