Summary
A 1960s Peggy Nisbet plastic doll possibly from her 'Historical Dolls' series and made to resemble Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret Rose Countess of Snowdon (1930-2002) in her wedding dress. She has a moulded plastic face with painted facial details and brown artificial hair dressed in a bun with a silver coloured metal tiara fastened to it and a long net veil. Around her neck is a diamante necklace. She has a plastic body and arms and legs. Her arms are jointed at the shoulders. She wears a white long sleeved dress with a full skirt to the floor. She has a net underskirt and underneath this is a cream satin petticoat and net stockings. She stands on a metal base. Attached to her left arm is a label giving the details of the doll’s maker and name.
