Summary
A metal and paper Post Office Savings Bank money box in the shape of a small book; commemorating the reign of George V, 1910-1935. The money box has a hard 'cover' and 'spine' which is covered with silver coloured paper which has a wavy textured surface. The paper material is placed on top of a metal base. On the front cover at the top is a profile of George V, below which is the date '1910 - 1935. The 'text block', 'head' and 'tail' are made from brass. The 'head' has the number '838872' written on it. The 'text block' has the key hole and the 'tail' has a slot for coins and a round hole for notes.
