Summary
A jigsaw puzzle published by the Great Western Railway Company (circa 1924 to circa 1939). The jigsaw is entitled 'Henley Bridge', with its original box. It is made of wood, with a colour-printed image stuck to it. The box is made of thick cardboard, in two pieces held together with staples in which one piece slides inside the other like a drawer. The outside piece has textured orange paper labels on three sides. The one on the front is printed in black with the name of the product and number of pieces inside listed as ‘200’. It also has a small paper label at the top printed with the same image as the puzzle. The box is quite tatty at the edges. The image on the puzzle is of the riverside with the town behind, including a church, and a bridge to the right-hand side. The painter's name, Fred Taylor, appears in the bottom left-hand corner. Total number of items is 201.
