Summary
Puzzle box, made to house a puzzle depicting the 'Fishguard Army' of 1797. The cardboard box was originally made as one box with a deep, white base and a deep white lid but it is now in two parts. The larger one has black printed words describing the puzzle as made of three-ply wood, and consisting of 200 pieces. In a dark blue, large print semi-circle below is the word 'Jig-saw'; underneath in flowery, black calligraphy 'GWR' and then black capitals outlined in white 'Puzzle'. There are two black heraldic shields on the bottom right and left corners. The smaller label has a coloured picture of the sea, cliffs and groups of people representing the Fishguard army, 1797. There are two pale blue labels on the spine of the box both in black print that refers to the Fishguard Army. Total number of items is 2
