Summary
A card game called 'Authors' in its original two part maroon box, with the title 'Authors' on the outside (circa 1897). Inside are the rules and the 52 cards. Each card has a maroon, green and white design on the back depicting an owl, a crescent moon, books, pen and ink and bunches of flowers. On the front are pictures of authors surrounded by a frame of leaves, and underneath his name, the titles of some of his books and names of contemporary authors. Total number of items is 56.
