Summary
A pack of 52 playing cards, containing number and court cards. The pack is produced by Waddington’s for H.P. Tyler Ltd, shoe specialists. The original box has a navy and blue background with 'Tyler's Shoes are the Best for all Purposes' printed twice on one side. On the reverse is an advertisement for Tyler's printed in red on white background, reading 'Service with Courtesy, Branches Everywhere'. Total number of items is 53. Waddington’s – 1922 to 1994 Founded as Waddingtons Limited as a printing business. The name then changed from Waddingtons Limited to Waddington's House of Games. In 1905 Waddington's House of Games changed their name to John Waddington Limited. In 1922 John Waddington Limited changed their name to Waddington Games. The last name change was from Waddington Games to Waddingtons. In 1971 Waddingtons bought out Alf Cooke. In 1994 Waddingtons was bought out by Hasbro.
