Summary
A pack of fifty-two playing cards in its original box. Each card is edged in gold-coloured ink and has a hunting scene colour-printed on the back. This has a blue and gold-coloured border, shows many huntsmen in red jackets and on horseback, and is labelled 'The Run'. The cards are quite well-used and therefore slightly dirty. The box consists of two pieces, one of which slides inside the other like a drawer. Each is made of cardboard covered with red textured paper. The box is quite tatty, one edge is coming apart, and the end of the 'inner' piece has become detached. On the front of the other piece is printed, and impressed, in gold-coloured ink are details of the make, manufacturer and place of production. On the back is a playing card showing its 'Hunting Scene' side. Total number of items is 55.
