Summary
A Dutch or peg wooden doll, possibly dressed as a gypsy. The doll has a wooden head with the face painted flesh colour and painted facial features. The hair is painted black. The body is wood and she has two wooden legs jointed at the hips, and one arm jointed at the shoulder, while the other is missing. She is wearing a pink artificial silk shawl and a pink artificial silk skirt covered with broderie anglaise. She has two decorative sequins at the waist and multiple sequins and beads sewn around the bottom of the hem of the skirt.
