Summary
A 'Simon and Halbig' tinted bisque-headed baby doll, with stuffed body and knitted yellow dress. The head is made from tinted bisque and has moulded and painted facial details. The head is cracked in several places and has been stuck together at the crown with fabric tape. There is a piece of the bisque missing on the front of the head. The doll has glass eyes which have become detached completely and have fallen inside the head. The doll's body, legs and upper arms are stuffed with straw and are made from a coarse open weaved fabric. It has pink painted composition lowers arms and hands. The doll wears a knitted yellow dress with a white knitted petticoat underneath. Below this the doll wears white cotton knickers.
