Summary
A metal and dark green leather doll's pram. The pram has two small spoked wheels at the front, and two large spoked wheels at the back. Each have a very hard rubber or plastic tyre. A turned wooden handle is attached to two brass curved hand rails. The dark green leather on the outside of the pram is cracked, and it is decorated with circular and looped pieces of wicker cane which have also been painted dark green. The interior of the pram is lined with black leather trimmed with a narrow band of brocade along the top edge. In the centre of the bottom of the interior is a lift-out panel which, when removed, provides a foot-well. On the outside of the foot-well is an embossed coat of arms enclosed in a circle. A black leather folding hood lined with black cotton is hinged in the centre of the pram, enabling it to be raised at either the end of the pram. Beneath the pram, and attached to the wheel axels, are two shaped strips of metal painted dark green. There are two pieces of broken brown leather strap in the bottom of the pram, although they appear unrelated to it.
