Summary
A tinted bisque doll in its original 'trousseau' box. The doll has inset eyes which have fallen into the head, moulded painted features and long frizzy, fair hair. The head, arms and leg will rotate. She is wearing a stiff white bonnet decorated with artificial white rose buds and green leaves and cream lace. The cream dress, made of synthetic fabric, is decorated with cream lace and has a high collar, long sleeves and a two tier skirt. White socks and brown strapped shoes are painted on The cardboard box top is hinged with paper. Stuck to the top is a piece of patterned paper with black and white stripes over printed with red and yellow roses. The sides are red with gold coloured trim. The base is green. Inside, threaded through the base, is a piece of red ribbon. There is also a handmade white cotton nightdress. It has a lace trimmed draw-string neck and waist, and long sleeves. Total number of items is 3.
