Summary
A fisherwoman doll. Her face and limbs are possibly made from ceramic, and she has a fabric stuffed body. Her face has moulded and painted facial features and she has black painted hair. She wears a red fabric scarf, with a net edging, around her head and neck. On her top half she wears a black fabric jerkin with two black buttons, under which is a blue, yellow and brown woven blouse with coarse fawn cotton long sleeves. On her bottom half she wears a red cotton skirt with a band of stitching at the hem, a black and white petticoat and white drawers. Each of her hands has a drilled hole through which is threaded a string. The right hand string is attached to a basket which holds a two handled ceramic basket containing a shell. The left hand string holds the hand to the body. She has a pair of brown beaded earrings.
