Summary
A brown thick woollen child's coat (circa 1940 to circa 1950) with a collar. The coat fastens with four brown plastic buttons. Another row of four brown plastic buttons are on the left hand side, and there are buttonholes on each side, suggesting the coat could be worn by either a boy or a girl. The lining inside the coat is probably made from silk. Manufacturing labels are inside the collar showing the brand name as ‘Bo-Peep’ Another .Bo-Peep label with an illustration of Bo-Peep and a sheep is on the inside left above a utility mark.

Label inside collar and inside front opening: the label on the inside of the opening has a rectangular border and an illustration of Bo-Peep and a sheep printed in black ink: "Bo-Peep Model / BRITAIN'S PREMIER MAKE" Label inside front opening: "CC 41 / 285D"
