Summary
A practical joke toy cigarette tin with a hinged lid. The lid has a paper label pasted onto it with a colour illustration of a sphinx within a diamond, a blue background with four Egyptian type designs and 'Cigarettes / Egyptiennes' in red ink within a pointed logo. The box contains six wooden 'cigarettes' joined at the top or the bottom. They are covered with white paper, the ends having a gold coloured tip. Printed on the 'cigarettes' is a circular motif with a crown on the top and a star in the centre. The 'cigarettes' are resting on a piece of slanted grey cardboard with a metal tack. When a cigarette was lifted up it probably sprung upwards. Total number of items is 3.
