Summary
A pull-along toy 'horse on wheels' type (1920s), possibly made by the German manufacturer 'Bauer and Krause', Leipzig, Germany. Manufactured from the late 19th century till the 1930s. Horses manufactured by this company had attached to the back of one hoof a embossed metal plaque - although is horses doesn't have this. The horse is made of wood covered in cow hide, which is now mangy and worn away in places. The horse has inset glass eyes and a black hair tail. Attached to the underside of each hoof is a metal castor. The horse is wearing a brown leather harness attached with circular metal rivets.
