Summary
A doll's house size four poster bed with hangings. The frame of the bed is made of wood. To support a mattress there are six narrow strips of tape glued to the frame. Attached to the back of the bed and the underside of the roof is some blue silky material. Around the base of the bed is a frill, or valance of cream coloured fabric with a narrow vertical stripe in the weave. The hangings around the front posts and the back, and covering the roof are all of the same material. The hangings around the front pillars are tied with cream coloured narrow rick-rack braid. Sewn on to the top around three sides is cream coloured braid with a fringe. There were loose strands of thread hanging loose which possibly secured the blue fabric of the back.
