Summary
A wooden box with a sliding lid which contains 138 ceramic building blocks made in Germany by Richter (circa 1890 to circa 1900). The blocks come in various shapes and are coloured red, beige and blue. The box has reinforced brass corners. There are two accompanying illustrated instruction booklets written in German and English, one entitled 'Designs for Architectural Models for Richter's Anchor Blocks No. 4' and the other 'Richters Bauvorlagen Nr.61/2'. Total number of items is 143.
