Look closely at where her feet should be and you will notice she is in fact a skittle.

Summary

A bisque-headed doll resembling a skittle. The head and arms are attached to a stuffed upper body; the lower body is cylindrical with no legs and possibly made of plastic. The head has moulded and painted facial features, with open-and-shut blue-glass eyes, an open mouth with teeth, and a dimple on the chin. The hair is brown mohair. The body has stiff sides where the arms are attached, but is otherwise soft and stuffed with an unknown substance. The arms are possibly composition. The lower body is a cylinder shape possibly made of plastic and filled with a substance to make it heavy. The doll's main garment is a robe made of gold-coloured metallic fabric, the top part being a shawl-like piece around the upper arms and shoulders, the skirt being full and open to the waist at the front. It is edged with tiny tubular glass beads. The cylindrical part of the body is covered in what looks like a white bandage (with a piece of flesh coloured silk stocking in the base), over which is an outer covering of gold-coloured metallic lace decorated with both tubular and round glass beads. On the head is a turban made of white-cream cotton wadding covered with more of the gold-coloured lace, decorated with more lace and glass beads. There is a scarf around the neck, tucked in under the robe, also made of wadding covered with lace.
