Summary
A doll's house size cradle with doll inside; both handmade (contents from Betty Cadbury collection doll's house with lift - inventory number 660462). The cradle is made, possibly from the base of a match box, and covered in a green and brown fabric. A pale green fabric is hand stitched and gathered and attached around the sides of the cradle and made to form a hood at one end. This is strengthened by a wire. A rectangle of white muslin is in the base of the cradle. A rectangle of green fabric, covered on one side by a piece of white net, is edged with beige coloured lace. The tiny doll has been made out of piece of yellow fabric, with a floral design, which has been gathered to form a head and secured by a red thread. A cape covering the head has been made out of a piece of mauve material, hemmed on one side. The total number of items is 4.
