Wooden box originally with toy soldiers inside.
Summary
An oval shaped thin wooden box for the Erzebirge soldiers tents (circa 1891). The sides are made from one piece of wood glued to the bottom. The lid is the same. The side and top have split in places and there is some writing on the rim of the lid. With the box are; a newspaper cutting dated Friday, December 22 1891 and part of a sale poster for 'W.Hetheringtons's Specialities China and Glass Sale'. Total number of items is 3.
