Summary
A bisque-headed doll with inset blue glass eyes, open mouth with teeth and a blonde mohair wig. The face is badly cracked. Stuffed cloth body and upper legs. Composition arms, hands, lower legs and feet. The right foot is partially detached and held on by its sock. Wearing a black wool tail-coat with brass coloured buttons, black wool waistcoat, cream cotton shirt with green ribbon at neck; brown corduroy breeches and grey woollen knitted socks with holes in. Black man-made fabric hat with green ribbon, held onto head with haberdasher's pin. There is a miniature clay pipe decorated with moulded thistles tucked into the top of his waistcoat.
